Hackathon for Universities

Eradicating Racial Inequity from British Education

Join the Movement to Eradicate Racism in British Education

Suitable For: Undergraduate and Postgraduate students across the UK
How to Get Involved: Students can participate in groups of six through their university.

Systemic and institutional racism deeply impacts young people across all levels of the UK education system—from Early Years to Higher Education. The Racial Justice in Education Hackathon is your opportunity to join forces with some of the brightest minds across the UK to tackle this urgent issue head-on.

This is more than just a challenge; it’s a chance to create real, actionable change in the education system and leave a lasting legacy of equity and justice.

How to Get Involved

We are inviting teams of six students to collaboratively develop innovative interventions aimed at dismantling racial injustice in education. Your intervention can take any form—whether it’s driven by technology, the arts, education reform, or another creative approach.

This is your chance to shape a brighter, more equitable future and pitch your ideas to influential decision-makers.
