Activism Academy is a London-based, six-month extra curricular leadership programme encouraging young people to become active social changemakers in the field of racial justice.
This programme will be delivered through a combination of online and in-person workshops.
At the halfway point of the programme (3 months in) students will be asked to plan and carry out a racial justice project in their own communities to tackle a chosen area of racial inequality.
You will be part of a cohort of 50 like-minded young activists and will be provided with ongoing support and guidance from our leaders and your peers.
At the end of the programme, participants will pitch their racial justice projects they have been working on, to a panel of judges.
The most compelling projects will win a bursary of £500 towards a course/workshop or tutoring to upskill the student either educationally or professionally
Participation in the Activism Academy is free of charge as we want to ensure anyone can access this programme regardless of their background or situation.
Programme Details
The programme is made up of online learning sessions, in-person workshop days, a field trip to Cambridge University, regular mentoring from industry professionals, and a big celebration event at the finale of the programme to celebrate your success and progress.

How To Sign Up
You can sign up by:
- Asking your school to contact us to register on the programme (Please note we are currently only accepting London-based schools)
- Send a direct email introduction (copying in Julie, our Programme Manager) to the most relevant teacher/staff member at the school
We can usually accept 5 students per school.
